3 DAYS 2 NIGHT CAMERON HIGHLANDS WITH ORANG UTAN ISLAND
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur / Cameron Highland:
Depart from your hotel for a brief stop at Batu Caves – a massive limestone outcrop consisting of three main caves and a number of smaller ones. Hindu shrines can be found in the caves. Climb the 272 steps to reach the cool interior of the caves and be amazed by the splendid works of nature.
Leaving the tall buildings and expressways of cosmopolitan Kuala Lumpur, continue your journey northwards pass by miles of rubber and palm oil plantation on your way to the delightful vacation area of Cameron Highlands. Proceed to the winding road up the hill. En route you will be able to see the aborigines people known as “orang asli” who still live in a very primitive way and hunt with blowpipes.
Day 2 Cameron Highlands:
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day tour of Cameron Highlands – proceed to butterfly farm, tea plantation factory (closed on Mondays), rose garden and local market. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure.
Day 3 Cameron Highlands / Penang :
After breakfast depart Cameron Highland to Penang enroute visit to Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island – Tucked away on the 35-acre Pulau Orang Utan, Orang Utan Island is the world's first and only 5-acre rehabilitation and conservation facility where Orang Utans roam free. The unique island serves as a breeding sanctuary as well as a
conservation, research and education center to better understand this endangered species. Tour ends with drop off at Penang Hotel.
Orang Utan Island : Boat operation into Orang Utan Island is subject to water level, during closure visit will be replace with ECO Park
